Mint Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

Fresh mint leaves, white wine vinegar, sugar, boiling water, and a pinch of salt. 

Recipe

  1. Prepare the Mint: Wash and dry the mint leaves, then chop them finely.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl or jug, combine the chopped mint, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add Boiling Water: Pour the boiling water over the mint mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Let it Cool: Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  5. Add Vinegar: Stir in the white wine vinegar.
  6. Adjust to Taste: Taste and adjust the sweetness and vinegar to your liking.
  7. Serve: Serve with roast lamb or other dishes.
